2007 IOGA WEST VIRGINIA SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
West
Virginia high school seniors planning to attend a
four-year West Virginia college or university are
eligible to receive a one-time only $1,000 scholarship.
To date, IOGA
has awarded $59,000 to children of employees of member
companies.
Applications
Accepted January 10 through April 13, 2007
Eligibility
Requirements:
- Applicant must be a
West Virginia high school senior.
- Applicant
must be a dependent of an employee who works for a
dues paying member of IOGA-WV.
- A
completed application along with a 500-word essay
pertaining to “qualities of a good leader and/or
vocational goals” must be postmarked no
later than Friday, April 13, 2007.
- Applicant
must plan to enroll in a four-year West Virginia
college or university.
- Scholarship
awards will be made on a one-time only basis.
- Scholarship
awards will be directly deposited to the respective
winning applicants’ college or university.
