IOGA’s Membership
Services include three regularly scheduled events,
educational seminars, an association-based major medical
insurance program and other related services.
The three regularly
scheduled events are the Winter Meeting, the Summer Meeting, and the Sports Weekend.
The Winter Meeting is
scheduled for January or February each year and is
traditionally held in Charleston.
The Winter Meeting provides a forum to update
members on important industry and tax issues.
The Association sponsors a Legislative reception with the
winter meeting.
The Sports Weekend is
held in early fall in northern West Virginia and
provides members with a social event featuring golf,
tennis, and a West Virginia football game and tailgate
party.
Each year IOGA sponsors a
number of educational seminars designed to provide
timely information on important topics.
Topics recently covered have been environmental
issues, drill site safety and taxation issues.
