The Independent Oil and Gas Association of West Virginia, Inc. (IOGA) offers what is considered the premier association health insurance program in West Virginia.  The IOGA program is presented through a successful partnership with Mountain State BlueCross BlueShield (MSBCBS) and Acordia, and has become the largest fully insured policyholder of MSBCBS.

The program now manages health insurance coverage for approximately 65 IOGA member companies, representing more than 600 employees.  We offer five PPO plans, which makes it possible for our member companies to choose the plan best suited to their needs.  A dental plan is also available.

The stability of the plan allows our members to focus more on their business, since all services are provided by IOGA, Acordia and MSBCBS.

All new groups applying for coverage are initially medically underwritten and, therefore, can be declined for acceptance in the plan by MSBCBS.  In order to be eligible to participate in the program, the company or individual must also be a member in good standing and current in the payment of its dues.  For more information about this program, please contact:
