Membership Application

Membership Application and Classifications




Download and fill out a copy of our Application to join over 600 West Virginia organizations as members of IOGA WV.

Every IOGA WV member company is listed under one of the following classifications:

• Producer/Operator – Those who prospect, develop and produce oil and natural gas. Includes those who have management responsibilities as either companies or general partners; those who are in charge of the operation; or those who are in the business of producing and operating wells.

Dues: $ 35.00 per operated West Virginia well, $15.00 per well producing 5 mcf or less, or contract operated with no working interest. Minimum dues per year = $500.00; maximum dues per year = $25,000.00.

• Gas/Oil Marketer – Those whose primary business is to serve the industry by assisting and participating in the marketing and/or selling of gas and/or oil.

Dues: $ 2,500.00

• Allied – Those whose businesses are directly related to the oil and gas producing industry such as, but not limited to, service and supply companies, truckers, sales representatives, banks, etc. Dues are based on the number of WV employees directly related to the oil & gas industry.

Dues: $ 500.00 less than 50 such employees. $ 1,000.00 50 or more such employees.

• Professional – Those who serve the industry in a professional capacity such as attorneys, land-men, accountants, surveyors, consulting geologists, engineers, geophysicists and financial advisers.

Dues: $ 500.00

• Associate – Those with an interest in the oil and gas industry and do not qualify under any of the other membership categories.

Dues: $ 250.00

• Royalty Owner – Those whose only interest in oil and gas production is through the ownership of the royalty and does not qualify in any of the other membership categories.

Dues: $ 150.00

A member qualified during a membership year under more than one category of membership shall only pay dues under one category of membership, which, except upon approval of the Board, shall be the category providing for the highest level of dues for that member that year.
